Ebay-premier account or keep Personal one?

Hi,
I am doing car boots and raising cash on eBay to help grandkids college fees. Had a Personal account but as I am doing MUCH more I wondered about changing it to a Premier account.
I have spent the morning trying to find fee comparisons to work out what is best?
Can anyone help please?:(

    Paypal account you mean?

After a certain limit you wont get much of a choice.

I only sold a few items every now and then and i had to upgrade.

Because of the postage costs it pushed me over the limit. Something silly like £200?

  • I really would like to be able to see what the costs are for each type of account and be able to make an informed decision as to which account I should opt for.

    Can anyone help?

Paypal fees are usually 3.4% + 20p for transactions up to £1,500 unless you have a micro account (only really suitable for transactions up to around £9) then it is 5% + 5p

All the information you need is available on the paypal site.
  • Hi,
The reason I am trying this route is that reading the Paypal site is a bit like doing quantum physics at primary school.
Does anyone know the comparative charge levels for these two types of account?

    paypal help> paypal fees>

shows no difference in fee structure unless you hold a merchant account or a micro account
