    1) there is an address (usually on your tenancy agreement) for "the serving of Notices" on the Landlord. If you do not have such an address, you do not have to pay rent. Landlord and Tenant Act 1987

    2) However, the address in 1) above can be anywhere, and may be c/o the letting agent

    3) You can also write to whoever collects your rent (eg agent) and request the LL's actual address. By law, they have 21 days to provide it. In your letter, quote the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 section 1. It is a criminal offence to not provide it when asked in writing.

    4) As suggested above, The Land Registry holds an address for the owner of every property. Unfortunately this is sometimes the address of the same property. It costs £3.
