Split or double saucepans, can you get them?

I did a google search and this came up. You could always contact the seller and ask them if they sell them on a regular basis.

I think I saw them in an AGA booklet but they may be expensive

Black Saturn these often turn up in charity shops. Maybe you could ask your local ones if they could keep an eye out for one? I am ashamed to say I have thrown out a couple over the years, you know when you get the I must rid myself of all clutter bug.

From what I remember the old ones were aliminuam so maybe they just get chucked as some people wont use them. Not sure if they protect against or are a factor to alzheimers!!!:D

I have both the double and triple Swan saucepans - both turn up regularly on ebay and are not very expensive.

You can buy half saucepans in camping and caravanning shops. I used them all the time when we had a caravan.

Sorry to drag up an ANCIENT thread but wondered if anything was out there? I'm after a single saucepan (not 2 halves) .. I've found frying pans and ones with separators but these aren't ideal.

I never realised it was an old thread,
I use my steamer which is a single saucepan but then with another sitting on top if you need it.

The two half saucepans turn up fairly often on Ebay if you wouldn't mind having second hand. I got some a few years ago which are so useful as they fit on the shelf of my Inset Woodstove and I can use it to cook on in the winter. I think they are still quite reasonably priced but haven't ever seen new ones. Cheers Lyn.
