Just wanted to say in contrast to what some others have said:

Ive always chosen a male lodger. On the whole, in my opinion, men are less high maintenance.
Ive always included bills and tea/coffee/milk in the kitchen
Ive only ever done Mon-Fri let - i couldnt be doing with someone being here 7 days a week!:eek:

Do you live in an area where there is a need for Mon-Fri let? Where i live, you tend to get pretty much the same in terms of rent, but with the bonus that your home is your own every weekend! yay
