THECOMPETITION IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN FRANCE, UK, GERMANY ONLY. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN
THIS COMPETITION IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE AND NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF FRANCE, UK, OR
GERMANY AT THE TIME OF PARTICIPATION.THIS COMPETITION WILL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED
ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF THE LOCALE OF THE PARTICIPANT IN ONE OF THE THREE COUNTRIES
MENTIONED ABOVE. THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE WINNER ACROSS THE THREE COUNTRIES.
NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
1. Eligibility: The 100% HP Movie Star Competition (“Competition”) is open to legal residents of the UK
who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation. Employees, officers and directors of the
Hewlett-Packard Limited (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising,
promotion/marketing, or production agencies and Web masters/suppliers, immediate family members
[spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses] and individuals residing in their same
household are not eligible to participate. Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility
requirements in any manner it deems appropriate. By participating, participants agree to these Terms
and Conditions, which are final and binding in all respects.
2. Competition Period: Competition begins at 13:30:00 p.m. GMT on 25
th of April 2013 and ends at
11:59:59 p.m. GMT on 3rdof May 2013 (“Competition Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time
keeping device for the Competition.
3. The Prize: The winner will win an HP Envy X2 Product and a VIP Package to attend “Cannes Film
Festival” as per below details.
A similar competition is organised in France and Germany, and there will be one winner only across the
three countries (i.e. France, UK and Germany).
a) The prize will include:
 An HP Envy X2 Product.
 An invitation to attend the “Cannes Film Festival”2013 in Cannes, France.
 The winner will have the possibility to invite one person of his/her choice to accompany
him/her. The companion will fall under the Competition Terms and Conditions rules for
the purpose of the trip and stay in Cannes. Winner shall ensure adherence to these
rules by his/her companion. Return by flight or train, economy class from Cannes,
France to Germany, UK, France (as applicable) winner's residence city.
 Airport transfers to Hotel “Le Majestic” Cannes, France.
 1 (one) night accommodation in a double room in the hotel “Le Majestic” at Cannes.
 Lunch and dinner on the 18
th of May and breakfast on 19th of May as per the HP VIP
package.
 HP VIP HP Cannes Film Festival package (access to “La mont!e des marches”, preview
screening on May 18th,
)
 Airport taxes
 Travel agency fees
b) The prize does NOT include:
 Extras and any personal expenses of any kind
 Trip cancellation insurance and lost luggage
 Airline charges in case of luggage weight beyond the allowed weight by airline Any service not mentioned in the programme organized by Sponsor for its HP VIP Package for the
Cannes Film Festival eventheld from 18th of 19th of May 2013 in Cannes
 Visa formalities and related formalities and costs
 International health and accident insurance (including repatriation insurance) to be subscribed by
winner – winner shall provide details of such insurance coverage to Sponsor by 12th of May prior
to the Cannes Film Festival event.
All-NOT-included items shall be for the account and expense of the winner.
NB: Passport must have 6 month validity after the end of the Cannes trip.
Total value of the prize for winner: approximately £2,535, for one person and approximately £3,380
with the companion.
4. Register for the Competition: During the Competition Period, you can register for the Competition
through the “HPFacebook” Application on the Sponsor Facebook Platform (“Application”). You will be
required to click on the “like” buttons of HP posted on the Competition Page, and follow the
instructions to participate in the Competition. You will advance to an authorisation page where you will
be required to agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Registration”). Limit one (1) Registration per
person/email address for the entire Competition Period. Participants may not register with multiple
email addresses nor may participants use any other device or artifice to register under multiple
identities. Should multiple participants of the same e-mail account enter the Competition and a dispute
thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorised account subscriber of said e-mail
account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. “Authorised account subscriber” is defined
as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service
provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain
associated with the submitted e-mail address. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of such
automated devices will cause disqualification. Follow the online instructions to complete the
registration form to include your first and last name and address, city, state, zip code, age and e-mail
address. Should you be the winner the postal address you provide at time of Registration will be the
address used to send the prize.
5. How to win: The Competition Application will ask you to answer a specific question on an HP Intel
Product. A jury composed of Hewlett-Packard and Intel Representatives will designate the best creative
answerby May 7th, 2013.
6. Winner: Winner will be notified by email on or about May 8th, 2013. Sponsor is not responsible for
any change in participant's email or postal address if the prize notification or prize is returned as nondeliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms and
Conditions; prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Winner must confirm within 2 days after receiving the winning notification that he/she will be able to
go to Cannes for the Cannes Movie Festival 2013 as per the dates shown in section 3 above. If the
winner cannot take advantage of the prize for personal and/or professional or other reasons, winner is
made aware that he/she will lose the prize without any compensation, and winner accepts that the
prize may be granted to another winner.
The winner is solely responsible, at his/her own expenses, for any tax liability and any incidental
expenses arising from the award of the prize. Winner shall procure the same obligation from his/her
companion.
Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted, but Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion and/or due to circumstances beyond itsreasonable control or unforeseen circumstances.
The winner’s name will be published on the Sponsor’s Facebook page and on the local HP Facebook
pages in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
7. General Conditions: As a condition of participating, participants agree (a) that Sponsor, its parent,
subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, Facebook, Inc., and all of
their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are released, will have no
liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries,
losses or damages of any kind to person(s), or property as well as any disappointment resulting in
whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entering into this Competition, not being able to enter this
Competition, or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize. No more than the stated number
of prizes will be awarded. Use of the Application for any public or commercial purpose (including,
without limitation, on another site or through a networked computer environment) is strictly
prohibited. You may not modify, publicly display, publicly perform, or distribute the materials in the
Application. As between you and Sponsor, Sponsor owns the Application. The Application is protected
under United States and international copyright laws. Any unauthorized use of the Application may
violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. Sponsor’s trademarks and Intel trademarks, the
materials contained within the Application including videos, photos and graphics, and any other
product or service name or slogan or logo contained in the Application are the intellectual property of
Sponsor, the named individuals or Sponsor’s suppliers or licensors and may not be copied, imitated, or
used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of the rights holder.
8. Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, illegible, late,
misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered prizes or email; or for interrupted or unavailable network,
server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, telephone or other connections, availability or
accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or
technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or
computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties,
or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or
inaccurate capture of any Competition-related information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such
information. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate
information, whether caused by website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or
utilised in this Competition; and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction
or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the website. Sponsor reserves the right, at
its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual/account it finds to be tampering with the operation of
the Competition or to otherwise disrupt the Competition in any manner. Neither Sponsor nor its
agencies are responsible for injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to
or resulting from participating in this Competition or downloading or copying materials from or use of
website. If, for any reason, Competition, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is not capable of running as
planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt
or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, Sponsor
reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or any
portion thereof, and determine another winner from participants eligible prior to action taken, or as
otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor.
Past experience has confirmed that contests and other competitions generate substantially similar
submissions or entries which closely resemble concepts and ideas that have been independently
developed by Sponsor or its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (in this paragraph collectively “HP”)
before or after the Competition. Accordingly, participants may subsequently see an HP material which
seemingly incorporates an idea or concept similar to that contained in their participation response to
this Competition. Any similarity is purely coincidental and unavoidable in light of the volume of ideas
which HP routinely considers in the course of their program and product development. Participants hereby agree to submit their entries under the full understanding of the above possibility, and will not
seek any compensation whatsoever from HP.
9. Data Privacy: Sponsor will process any personal data of participant which is provided to and/or given
access to Sponsor at time of Registration solely in connection with the administration of, and
participation into the Competition, in compliance with applicable data protection law and Sponsor

be kept longer than necessary for the purpose of the Competition and will be deleted subsequently. To

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction: All rights reserved. These Terms and Conditions and the
Competition are governed by the laws of England. Should any of these provisions be or become invalid,
the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall not be affected. Any disputes arising
under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor (who may share it with its
appointed marketing agency) and not to Facebook. All information provided is only used for the
purpose of administering participation in the Competition.
