Not meant to be overly sarcastic.
See you are new here, you will get used to it.
Dummy still good advice.
Another is not to go and tell your neighbours to keep their child/baby quiet.
i know the advice to not ask the neighbours to be quiet will probably not be appreciated, but believe me, it is said for good reason!
in 17 years of previously living in flats, when ever i politely tried and retried this approach it was always a big fat fail, and ended up making things worse...
living in flats sucks and the only way to avoid annoying neighbours, is not to have any!!!
thats our solution now...i was driven nuts in london, everywhere we lived, as no one gave a stuff if they were annoying, and would abuse you, or be passive aggressive in response to a polite complaint...0 -
Sometimes a general chat does help.
My OH is a music fanatic and although he works full time on his days off he used to play music not overly loud but enough that you could probally hear it all around the house during the day but would always turn it off at night.
We had the neighbour knock on our door saying he doesn't want to be a pain but he works nights and can we please keep it down during the morning/afternoon he'd really appreicate it....
Well my OH was over the moon as he could then play it in the evenings/night times without having to worry but needless to say I made him keep it down in the morning!! :APeople don't know what they want until you show them.0
