Santander say I have busted by ASA allowance when I have not.

Further update.
I spent an hour of my life today going between Santander and the Halifax.
The Halifax call centre lady contacted the ISA specialist team on my behalf and came back with the answer that Santander had filled the form out wrong. They said that the part of the form that says “including current year allowance” was filled in as £0 when it should read £5760.
I went back to Santander and they said they had filled the form out correctly and it should be £0 as I funded this year’s allowance with them.
I then went back to the Halifax and again to the Specialist ISA team and they changed their tune stating that the process is automated and they can’t see what has gone on and the issue has been referred to another ISA team.
So despite me not funding an ISA with the Halifax this year, which is confirmed by my online statements I am now thinking that the Halifax think I have. This was confirmed by another letter from Santander that arrived today, which used plain language, saying that the transfer can’t go ahead as I have busted this year’s limit.0 -
When did you initiate the original request?0

The date was 8th April0

I believe there were some issues with the electronic transfer system in early April and perhaps your transfer got caught up in it. I wonder If they initiated a new transfer request, would it kick it through the system.
If I remember rightly the issue in the system came from incorrect subscription values.
They may not process a new request though if they are sticking to their 14 day transfer rule. Usually these rules only apply to fixed rate isas0 -

It seems rather clear that neither Santander nor Halifax have got the first clue what is really going on. Have you now actually raised a complaint in writing (with both of them)?0
