Parking charge notice help

Hi, i know this has been mentioned millions of times by now but any help is greatly appreciated.

I was parked on a private car park in carlisle last night and i was using my partners car, i didnt realise that the clock was set wrong in the car and thought i was past the 9pm ticket time.
When i got back to the car i had a notice placed on the window.
The car park in question is a one on botchergate, the notice has CAR PARKING MANAGEMENT (CUMBRIA) on the top with an address for PCN parking services underneath and on the bottom of it it has details of PCN being a trading style of Roxburghe ltd and details for northern europarks.

The fine is 47 pounds if paid within 10 days or 95 if paid after, which i think is a tad excessive for the time scale, is there any thing i can do.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone has had any particular experience with this carpark would be a bonus to hear from.

1 - it be not a fine, just an invoice
2 - is that ppc on the BPA list to get details from dvla?

Depending on number 2, you could either go down the Popla route or ignore the scammers

Northern euro parks is listed on the BPA, what exactly does that mean and what is going down the popla route.

Hi again, my ten days are nearly up for the reduced fine and i think im just going to ignore the notice but before i do i have a photo of the sign at the park entrance i would like to upload and have inspected to see if there will be any implications in doing so but dont know how to upload.
