If the weather is nice (as it seems to be this morning) I'd always go to the Sully one - it's bigger and gets more visitors (also parking is easier for buyers). With the Bridgend one it's difficult to leave early if there's a problem. The other one I'd consider is in Gelligaer - also in a big field.

Seconded for Gelligaer - it expands into two fields when busy, and seems to be very popular! Also, they give stallholders time to set up before they unleash the buyers :p

Anyone give directions to these boot sales - whereabouts is the Sully one and the Gelligaer one? Children have a lot of stuff they want to clear. Are these on every Sunday morning? Thanks

The Sully boot sale is on the main road literally just after the turning for Sully island (or the Fishermans Wife pub), its held in the sports club field every Sunday from the end of April.

The Gelligaer boot sale is held on the fields bordering Gelligaer, aproach as if you were going to go to Gelligaer from Nelson and you literally cant miss it. It has TONS of cars parked everywhere and people streaming in and out. Its opposite the pub set back from the main road (I cant for the life of me remember the pubs name).
