Do I sense a little bit of a crush there lol! !

:rotfl: lol no, I'm in there so much, he knows who I am and regularly asks how things are, even knows how the missus likes her veggie brekkie (she's quite particular about it)

May need to pop into Bijou for breakfast, my daughter is at the school on the links and I often get on the bus into work from the stop just along from Bijou.

I used to play at Leith Links when I was a kid. :D

Good luck mod, hope it all goes well. :)

Edit: This thread has made me Google old haunts....and they're no longer there. :( The Leith I knew has changed so much, tenement blocks have been knocked down and streets are where houses used to be.

The chip shop I used to visit is still there though I daresay it's got new owners since I was there last. :D

    thanks aliasjo

I'm really looking forward (???) now - my pack came yesterday and mum is coming to help me decorate both mine and hubby's (yes he is doing it with me and is doning a bra as well!)

Actually he came home yesterday from walking across scotland - all 202 miles of it and thought it was a lovely place.

    How's things?

Oh it was lovely thank you - and after 26.2 miles very welcome!

It was right opposite the pink tent start/finish line so couldn't have been more perfectly placed if I had tried

The guy in there was lovely - we got in a bit earlier than expected and he was so apologetic that the chef wasn't in but it was well worth the wait.

Hoping to come back up to Edinburgh for next year's moonwalk (that's if the council can get in its backside into gear but that's a completely different thread) so if I do another breakfast is on the agenda!
