    it isnt the same nationwide.
here in derbyshire, we used to be able to use the 'branch line' trains free of charge but that has now stopped.
in london a freedom pass allows for buses, underground and oberhead trains within the london area.
the only thing that is the same all over England, is that a bus pass from any area can be used on any local bus

I'd be stuck without my pass as it's £22 for a monthly bus pass.

all individual councils renew passes in their own way.
i never had ti fill in another form, as they already hold all my setails on their computer system.
i only had to take my proof of entitlement.
you need to speak to your local council, as only they can tell you what their procedure is

Ism't it a bit early to be worrying about March 2014 - there could be lots of changes in the next 11 months.

I can't help worrying, anxiousness is part of my depression.

I don't think Dunroamin meant don't worry in general - but that things can, and may, change. Look at all the other changes that've taken place recently :)

Give your council a ring/visit in the near future, hopefully they'll be able to advise.

They should send a new form for your GP to sign in plenty of time

Here in Scotland if our bus pass is due to expire we are sent an application asking for evidence ie DLA award or a mental health certificate.

We in Scotland enjoy full travel within Scotland, not limited like England. So I am lead to believe.

Limited in England in what way??
