Hi,
Can anyone suggest where I can find the price of certain shares on a particular date in the year 2000?
Thanks in advance,
Mark.

That's exactly what I want. Thanks very much.

I wouldn't trust those Yahoo historical prices. Many of them seem incorrect (particularly for very old prices).
Try the historical prices on Google Finance, it seems more accurate.0 -
Google and Yahoo are fine although I wouldn't trust them if I needed share prices for capital gains etc.
Your library may have access to the Stock Exchange Daily Official List, we do in Essex. Otherwise/also your library may subscribe to the Times Digital Archive and as this is a facsimile of the newspaper you will find share prices (up to 2007). Usually, if your library subscribes you can access the database from home, using your library card.0
