My Hermes "hide and seek"

The drop card states "Left at 28". Three doors down and empty.
The tracking states "customer signed for". How?
Packet actually left at 29 - across the road and higher up.
No way to alert Hermes directly that their driver can't read numbers as according to the Hermes website I have to complain to the sender as it is their responsibility.
Woeful.

I had a delivery from My Hermes. They left me a note to say they had put the parcel in the wheelie bin at the end of my drive.
The reason it was at the end of my drive? It was bin day. Of course, the bin was empty by the time I got home.
Called the sender and told them and they sent a replacement out. Where did My Hermes leave that? Yup, in the same bin, again on bin day. :rotfl:
Luckily my OH was on early finish that day and beat the bin men to it!!
My Hermes = Numpties! You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
Easy way round all this, just book a collection. They soon find your address then.0

Similarly ours leaves parcels In the recycle box for the world to see on collection day. Booked a collection last week, rang up to ask if they could come after 2, guess what they'd been when I got home. Put a card through the door saying Friday, tried ringing courier direct no answer. He didn't turn up until Sat, by then I had already taken it to a parcel stop idiot he is!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

How does that help when something is being sent TO you?0 -
I've been waiting for a parcel from Hermes, I live in a block of flats and I have a job so I'm not always there in the mornings.
Courier won't leave package with a neighbour.
Courier refuses to deliver anytime after midday.
No option for collection from a depot.
After three failed attempts they return to sender. So how on Earth do people with jobs ever get their parcels? How do this firm continue to get business?0 -
I have been waiting at work today for a parcel, just checked their tracing site and it says back on route for redelivery.
There was no attempt in the first place as I sit by a window so can see all cars/vans entering and there's receptionists to take deliveries and no one has been today!A new start awaits!!0 -
This company used to deliver a monthly beauty box to my house, which always arrived inexplicably opened and rifled through.
I don't know how they manage to keep their business.0
