Old Halifax Account paying 2%?

I've noticed in my Halifax online accounts an old unused account that is still open and shows the current interest rate as 2%. It has a zero balance. It was one of those savings accounts you fed with regular monthly payments. I guess the 2% is intended to be the reduced amount at the end of that savings year.
I'm not going to call Halifax - but I wondered whether others think it will still actually produce this rate if I deposited my current cash from a 1.7% account?

Sounds like a regular saver, which currently pays 2% on up to £250 a month?0

Thanks.
My question is whether it is likely that having completed the year of saving some years ago - whether it is likely to accept a lump and pay 2%?0
