Stacking My Money Sky High!

I thought I'd start a little thread of my own. Where I can keep record of how much I actually save. Because tbh I keep on saving but don't look back and think how well I did.
In April I started something new. I save all my money to be saved and never touched. But then in addition I only keep say essential money in my current account and move the rest to a little interest instant account - but the money's there if I need it.
(I have actually dipped a little bit in my arranged over draft - but it's free - so not to worry because my salary will sort it in two days - unexpected petrol. Problem is with current accounts when you actually spend on your d/c the payments don't go through straight away, so you don't know how much you actually got)
I think that's why I've got confused of how much I saved this month. I move my money in and out between accounts.
So once I'm free I will calculate how much I've actually saved
ETA: My overdraft won't be free after July. [STRIKE]Thanx[/STRIKE] natwest, I've been banking for how long and now I don't know what's going on with my account.

I must say I made a big jump to fix for 2 years in an isa [STRIKE]10000 11000 [/STRIKE]10000 (yes I did change my mind a few times)
That currently leaves me with about [STRIKE] 3500 [/STRIKE] 3800 in instant access savings. However in October my 3 year fixed isa matures and that will be 6000 to add to my instant access collection!!
I have got a mini goal of needing 1790 (uni fees September) so I'm saving that money in a 1% instant access and not my isa as I am able to save the full allowance and keep it in there.Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/140 -

Cant you move your matured isa to another isa to keep it tax free? unless you want the money to spend now.0 -

Doesn't time fly when you're sorting out your finances!!
I've spent some of today working out how much I've saved in the last three months. Much needed, and a woohoo to me!
I've got that many savings accounts, I've had to remind myself where exactly I was putting my money!!
So my thoughts at the moment (although unsure and not certain) I will keep 100 in my current account, and whenever I spend, I can simply top up my amount to reach 100.
This will be my spending money. At maximum I will spend 100 a week.
So if this week I spent 60, I still have 40 for next week and need only 'top it up' with 60. This top up money would come from a mini savings account.
Soon as I get paid, I have money going into my regular savings, and then the rest goes into my ISA.
Come March 2014, if I have not maxed out my ISA, I will withdraw from reg.
I do keep 'short term emergency money' in a basic savings account.Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/140
