I have fine hair and aussie products make it lank and greasy. Shame because I know others who use it and say its fab.

I use pureology shampoo. Sulphate free and I didn't find the volume one dried out my hair.

I also have fine, dry hair and was pleasantly surprised at the results after trying the "no shampoo" way of washing hair. SLS (which are in practically all brands of shampoo) and Parabens have a really bad effect on hair.

Google 'no poo shampoo' for further information, but basically you use Bicarbonate of Soda mixed with water for washing hair, followed by Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water as a rinse. It takes a bit of getting used to but the result is fabulous. It's been a very long time since my hair was so soft and manageable and still feels that way after a week, and I intend to continue with this natural, completely additive free way of looking after my tresses.
  • I also do not use shampoo any more. Because my baby daughter is allergic to detergents and even my dry, clean hair against her skin is enough to set her eczema off. At first my hair felt constantly and utterly dreadful, really greasy, lank, dull, just awful. No matter how much I washed with bicarb of soda/rinsed with apple cider vinegar. I only persevered out of love for her, and knowing it was what she needed. Then, about 3-4 weeks later, my hair sorted itself out and suddenly became silky, bouncy, in great condition. I am never going back to shampoo again. And best of all, it's as cheap as chips.
  • I like Kerastase personally, its gentle on my hair, and although expensive, it is well worth it

I agree- and although it is reeeeaally expensive (so expensive that I get it gifted or second hand) a little really goes a long way. When I use cheaper shampoos I end up using twice as much or needing to wash twice, any savings I make are very small in comparison.

    Hey!

Bleached blonde here (my current longest parts are max 5 years, and I've bleached regularly).

I recommend Lee Stafford... I shampoo my hair carefully twice - once with a random brand and once with a fancier one. What I've found that is really irreplaceable to me in the LS range is their treatments. I use "for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length", and my hair immediately feels... stronger after I've used it.

Lee Stafford is not really moneysaving though, but if you are ready to splash out on a hair product, this is one that you can tell the difference from immediately!

When not doing treatments, I have after-colouring-treatments that I carefully emptied into a 400ml pump bottle when realising how many I've "saved up". It's very heavy, which works well for me. Also, the perfume in those treatments tends to be a nice little kick!

I haven't got fine or brittle hair but I love Tigi elasticate shampoo and conditioner, I buy it from Amazon . Also it's moneysaving as it comes in a pump dispenser . It was recommended by my hairdresser.

Yes I agree Aussie is a good range
