Invest £1600 but where

Options
Hello,

I have £1600 to invest, don't want to put it in cash. I want to invest it as a investment ISA. Just wondering where. I don't need access to it anytime soon and I'll probably add to it every year.

But where would the best place to put this amount of money be?

Thanks

The world's your oyster as they say but if you are looking for preservation with some risk then perhaps Troy Trojan which did okay in the last downturn but is lagging on the upside. If after a little more risk then perhaps Lindsell Train Global Equity.

The news papers often round up which unit trusts have done best. You then got to decide if that was part of a cycle that will continue or end.

Some trusts will do well for a decade. Newton Asia is one I have I read is top ranked, wish I got it sooner

I've heard of more and more people putting their money into commodities. Apparently there's more stability and more of a likelihood you'll get good returns.

The two questions before deciding what to invest in is "How much are you willing to lose?" and "Got enough savings for emergency."

    Cheers,
