uninstall mywebsearch, mcafee, rapport, google update, delete your hosts file, and try ie instead of firefox.

Rapport still shows in log even though I've unistalled it?
Not sure where the google update and host files are too delete in that log?

Ok I've saw the google update in 023 and after deleting these it still shows up in log again with Rapport - both are still showing up when I do another scan?

still using firefox or ie? ie, tools, internet options, browsing history, settings, every time i visit the webpage.

host file is here c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts just rename it to hosts.bak for now

run the avast browser cleanup tool, under avast, security, tools.

google update isn't that important, it's a scheduled task.

you haven't clarified what's slow, the machine or the net.

rapport - there's some manual removal instructions on their website, and they have a removal tool available, possibly via support

it will probably be resolved much faster if you backup your data somewhere, and factory restore it.

Ie was suggested because you said browsing was slow, it rules out a firefox problem.

it's probably showing a cached version, http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

backup your bookmarks and reinstall it if altering the cache settings doesn't fix it.
