Sorry you're correct just checked the bank and it was £10 for the badge and £20 for the car parking, which can really mount up.

The blue badge company do replacement clocks which seem much stronger than the standard supplied cardboard ones, they also fit nicely into the BB holders that they sell.

I use a BB holder (not from this Co. because they disnt exsist when I bought my holder but my next one will be by them) I paid £2.99 for my holder on ebay with free postage and its still going stron 5 or 6 years later, the holder seems to make the claock last longer.

My husband has two vehicles and I have a WAV, my son will be driving soon so my badge has to be easily transportable between vehicle even though I will only travel in their vehicle if my vehicle is unsuiable/unavailalbe.

I've bought things from the bluebadgecompany - thoroughly recommend them. Watch out for the fabric holders though, they slide off my dash.

Just got my replacement one and it's the new plastic one as shown in the photo above. I think councils are supposed to be using the same national company to make the blue badges because of the anti-fraud measures now.

Our council car parks are completely free with a blue badge though (and remember 3 hours free on double yellows anyway if not obstructing)
