Buyer missed 2 appointments

I'm a new seller selling some recently inherited furniture from the house that needs to be cleared. This involves making appointments with the buyers to meet them down there. All the buyers this week have been great apart from one.
This buyer has bid 0.99 for a large item and despite making 2 appointments hasn't turned up resulting in two wasted journeys for myself. He made an excuse after the first one and I'm waiting for a response this time.
Where do I stand with this? I'm inclined to put it on freecycle but don't want to do the wrong thing as I've already fallen foul of ebay with a wrongly worded listing.
I notice looking on his feedback that despite having 100% feedback another seller has experienced the same thing with him and called him a time-waster so I'm not hopeful!

How rude! I would either offer to send them a photo of the item instead, no more viewings, or better still remove their bid and block them!
You could just cancel the auction if you wanted as long as it isn't within 24 hours of ending...0 -
Sorry I didn't explain it too clearly. But the buyer bid 99p in an auction that ended last weekend and has failed to turn up at 2 appointments to pick it up.
So technically I suppose it's his and that's why I don't want to risk offering it elsewhere in case he turns up.
I'd happily have nothing more to do with him but not sure if I can do that.0
