This doesn't apply just for this month, but basically how I save is simple.
Firstly, I am very strict with my spending! I'm not working just now, but when I was I made sure I always put the maximum amount of money into my savings that I could manage.
I try and use up everything I have before buying new stuff (this applies to food, cosmetics etc)
I don't eat out that often, always take packed lunch!
I do online surveys (am yet to make much money from this!)
I never keep loose change in my purse. I always put it in my money jar! seriously! Everytime I come home I empty my purse and just forget about the money. i've saved loads from this. probably about £100 this year. but this includes £1 coins etc.
Oh, and I sell on ebay!
Thinking about doing a carboot sale to get rid of some of my junk that no-one will pay over £2 for0 -
I work for the Walt Disney Company and we get a crazy amount of discounts. When I worked in Walt Disney World, we had a book of discounts, ranged from vip seating in loads of restraunts, 20% off the bill, free cinema tickets and 20% off everything non-disney on Disney property.
Plus for Disney items we get the following
25% off all merchandise
Free park entry, plus you can take 3 family/friends in for free 6 times a year
80% off the Disney Cruise Line
15% off feature entertainment (dvds, music etc)
50% off Disney hotels
20% off Disney Store products (only Europe stores now, as Disney sold it's American stores to 'the Childrens Place' because it wasn't doing so good, but they still own the European stores as they do brilliantly)
there's loads more discounts, like i said you get a book.. about 30 pages of discount gallore. One of the best perks of working for one of the biggest companies on Earth0
