Yes I think an extension is better than a conservatory. We had a conservatory - never again. Too hot in summer and too cold in winter and the condensation! Plus all that glass cleaning got me down. It is cheaper to install but heating will be more expensive. When we sold the house the estate agent said the conservatory didn't add value but it did make it easier to sell the house.My secret fantasy is having 2 men....

My conservatory is my favourite room, but it's just not usable in winter. We have a large table in there but we had to put a small one in the living room too so we had somewhere else to eat!
If you need to use the room all year round then you'd probably be better with an extension.
That pretty much sums it up, it's about what you want to use it for:TI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
