Hello am new to this and just wanting some advice I recently went over to amsterdam to see beyonce what I bought for a pressent for my friend I couldn't get tickets so I bought off seatwave. But when I got the door on the areana they denied us entry and said the tickets had already been used. I just want to know can I claim off seatwave for hotel and accommodation as I would a never off went to amsterdam if beyonce wasn't on. Seatwave are being really funny with me about this firstly I asked for my money back for tickets what is £210 and they haven't refunded me, but now I feel the need to get back the further £500+ I payed for flights and hotel
Look forward to hearing what you'd think

Hi Kieran9139. Welcome to MSE.
How were the tickets used before you entered the arena?
If I understand you correctly, you have not managed to get a refund of the money you paid the ticket supplier.
What do you think your chances of getting back any consequential losses are?
In particular when I read Section 11.1 of the terms & conditions you presumably agreed to11.LIABILITY
11.1. Seatwave is a marketplace for tickets and is not responsible for the actions or failures of any venue, performer or promoter. Our liability to you for any losses you suffer as a Buyer resulting from our action or omission is limited to a maximum amount of the transaction value of the tickets plus any VAT which has been paid to the Seller in respect of any transaction. We will not be responsible for any indirect losses, consequential, exemplary, special or punitive damages, lost opportunities, loss of profits, anticipated profits, actual or anticipated savings even if Seatwave has been advised of the possibility of such damages. We do not limit our liability at law for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited
Look forward to hearing what you think ... and why0 -
