Eon boiler cover- appalling service- help?

I'm hoping someone will have some advice for me.
We made the huge mistake of taking out Eon's boiler cover. We were first without heating on the 17th April and have had nothing but problems with the company. They eventually 'fixed' the problem last night but come this morning nothing is working again and the same error code is showing. We have a 9 month old baby, who has come down with a horrific cold due to no heating. We also have no hot water as we have a combi boiler. The next appointment slot isn't until Thursday 2nd May. We already have a complaint logged with them, to which we are still waiting a reply. The customer service is shocking. We are at our wits end now. Is there anything we can do to hurry them along or is there any independent third party we can complain to? Any help or advice will be greatly received. However, after just doing a search on the web with 'Eon boiler cover, bad service' I've realized we are one of many dissatisfied customers and the problem is likely to last a lot longer than we anticipated.

I'm really sorry you're having such horrendous problems, especially with a little one to consider.
You're certainly doing the right thing in raising an official complaint. Ask for this to be escalated to senior management as per the complaints process.
If you drop an email to the address in my Profile, I'll be happy to talk to the central heating guys for you. Can't promise I can improve things but can certainly see what's going on.
