Claiming NSD 6 For yesterday (yaaaay!) And nope, no cheese, just a very vivid dreamer! Unfortunately, most people i tell about my dreams are not shocked at all by their content. Perhaps it says something about my mental state. Oh well.
Had to get petrol today (boo!) but was pleasantly surprised to find that since the last time i filled up, the cost per ltr has gone down 4 pence.
I think i've talked Tim into taking part in the NSD challenge, which is rather good. However, we're both quite competetive and will probably end up making this into a huge thing between us... the same was the survey sites did for the £5 a day challenge! Oh well, keeps things fun. And if I win, I dont have to do the dishes for a month. I love his outrageous wagers some times.
Hope it isnt too windy where you all are. We've apparently got a weather warning here today. Oh god! This is harder than I imagined.Yesterday ended up not being a no spend day as I remembered I had to hand in money for boss's leaving present. The had to drive to a meeting and noticed our local garage was on its dropped fuel price day, so put £20 worth in.
Today won't be either as I have 12 rhubarb plants being delivered tonight which I won on eBay for £2.61. Bargain as will save lots of money on rhubarb which my boys loveThen my mum wanted me to pick up some ibuprofen for her and I figured as I was in the shop I might as well get milk and bread which I'd need tomorrow anyway

Morning
The sun is shining but it feels cooler and it's definitely windy.
I didn't get chance to get on here yesterday as I had the doctors to check on my progress and am recovering well. I spent most of the rest of the day asleep.
Today, I am definitely going to do my ironing. I have tons of it and it's started to bother me. Will stick a film on to reduce the boredom.
Yesterday was NSD 4 and today is 5. Tomorrow is a spend day as I have a d / d leaving my account.
I am happy as I am still as per my budget spreadsheet although I spent slightly more than a fiver in the supermarket but I was happy to escape with that. Fortunately I am unable to carry much which also helped with temptation. I must remember that I am saving money on petrol at the moment as I am still not able to drive for another week. My TV package with Virgin is now cancelled and I should get a small refund next month but I have kept the phone until I return to work and will cancel that then.
Have a good day.

#4 bagged today :j:j:j:j
Trying to decide about mobile contracts and mobile broadband at the minute to see what the best deal is. My head is fried!! :eek:Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Spend day for me as needed few groceries and petrol. But should get a NSD tomorrow with a few more spends on Saturday.
Glad you're doing well Candlewick and are on the mend.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Spendy day for me.
Could probably have waited, but my car computer was telling me I was on fumes when I got home on Sunday, and all I need is a middle of the night emergency call from family which requires a 40 mile drive to get to them and I'd be snookered. Had planned to fill-up on the way to bootcamp on Monday, but it wasn't running due to it being a b/h. So I delayed until bootcamp last night, but had to miss it as I put my back out mowing the lawns on Monday afternoonFigured I've chanced my arm as long as I'm prepared to, and I'm out all day tomorrow (another paid customer focus group) then OH is here for the weekend so it would be Monday (on the way to bootcamp) before I got another chance!!
Spotted Mr T have their 10p/litre off if you spend £60 in store offer on, so I replaced my kettle (been driving me mad pouring water out around the lid as well as via the spout) which was almost £20, spent £22+ on storage boxes (on a B2G1F offer - I'm picking them up in small quantities on a regular basis to get my kitchen cupboards organised), some sun cream and aftersun (need to live in hope we'll see some more this year, and if I'm out running and walking a lot I really should use it), then picked up some food items (including 3 jars of their yeast extract after I spotted a new label on a jar on the shelf, and when I checked it was only 225g whereas the old labels are 240g - and the price is the same!). Then I took my 10p/litre voucher to the petrol station and filled up - having purposely gone to a different large store than normal for my shop/fill-up as it's 2p/litre cheaper than the one by the gym, and it's the same distance but in the opposite direction !! (Note to self - must remember to watch this when I need to fill up on a day I'm not taking the car to the gym)Cheryl0 -
NSD#5 today but it could be the last one for a couple of days. Out tomorrow day and evening. Hen do on Saturday though Sunday might be a NSD if I am lucky.
Still I'm happy with that...I hope to make my target this month.
A much better day all round. Wildcherry is smiling again!!On target for mortgage freedom September 20230 -
