Redrow Mastermove Questions

Hi everyone
I started the ball rolling with Redrow with a hope to part exchanging my house. I was eligible and passed their initial credit worthiness check and so they sent a valuer out.
The valuer came out from an estate agent 70 miles away and said he contacts local estate agents to get a better feel as to what my property would be worth.
I was contacted today before the office shut. I was expecting him to contact me saying redrow have offered me a silly low price but instead he said Redrow are prepared to part exchange but are happy to proceed with their mastermove scheme.
This caught me off guard and I said I would have a chat about it to my wife because I knew nothing about this scheme. Having since read up on it I have a few questions.
You pay your reservation fee of £500 (i think thats'the correct amount) on a plot. They do all the marketing working with local agents. If a cash buyer comes a long and want the same plot as you they sell your plot. Then what?
They mention a 6 week period on their website. Does that mean after six weeks they can't sell the plot to cash buyers or is that how long the mastermove contract runs for.
Your liable to agent fees if when you property is sold and you cancel. What happens if your property doesn't sell then what happens. I don't expect to be liable for agent fees if they don't sell my house.
Why would they not part exchange. Are they simply trying to push the mastermove scheme because they can make more money? I don't trust these companies so would love to hear from anyone that's gone through this good or bad before I open dialogue with them.
Many thanks in advance.
