I have been using Picasa web albums for years to share photos with friends and family but since early Feburary it developed a bug in that the unique link to my private (unlisted) albums used by my friends to view my photos will no longer work. I know this is a bug because it is the subject of a long and growing thread in their forum which mainly consist of more and more people complaining of the same problem with some suggestions that the owners of Picasa (Google) do not intend to correct it as they wish people to migrate to Google+.
So I am now looking for an alternative free on-line site where I can upload photos into albums and my friends can view them using a simple but relatively private code.
Thanks

Flickr is a favourite, but the free version limits the number of photos you can make available (not store) to (I think) 200 and only makes screen-sized versions available, not full resolution.
Photobucket is another (much less restricted) option.
Neither is as good as Picasaweb, IMHO, mainly because Picasa itself is such a good program.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
Thanks
I tried Photobucket but I can't seem to find a procedure that will provide a single link and password to all my albums. Even using sub albums it seems to require me to send a different link for each album and or sub album. I can still use Picasa if I give my friends a series of links (one for each album) or put all my photos into just one album. But I want to get back to having my photos sorted into distinguishable groups (ie albums) and have the same and only one link to all of them. Picasa was perfect for me until it got this wretched bug.0 -

Try NIKON IMAGE SPACE0

In case others are following this
I tried NIKON IMAGE SPACE and it allows albums and boxes of albums and if you have a Nikon camera allows reasonable storage space and the ability to make albums private. However as far as I can tell it requires a separate link for each album which means my original problem remains unsolved.
Thanks for your suggestions0
