Fidelity Pathfinder

I have been investing with Fidelity for about 8 years and built up approx 75k in an ISA.
I used to be fairly on top of it and would move balance the portfolio yearly, keep on top of the market, etc but of late have let it drift.
I was looking at moving into into some of the Fidelity Pathfinder funds to allow someone else to do it.
About 40% Freedom 2 (low risk), 40% Freedom 3 (mid risk) and 10 % into both Freedom 4 and Freedom 5 - with 500 a month going into Freedom 5.
I would then review a bit less often - moving funds out of the higher risk funds once they have made good profit.
I am trying to find out which funds these freedom funds are investing in - i have asked Fidelity but they seem unable to tell me - saying it changes.
Does anyone know?
Is the feeling it would be safer to invest this way rather than try and do it half heatedly myself.
Thanks
