Blue Badge abuse????

is the grandson you take swimming the child of one of you daughters that you openly admit are both committing benefit fraud?
yet you have the cheek to comment on other people doing what you condone within your own family?
Yes he is. Uncle ***** is the husband of my grandson's dad's sister.
What my daughters' do is of no concern to me - they are old enough to take responsibility for their own actions. I never said that I agree with what they do, but I don't see that it is my place to report them and give them both a criminal record.
That is why I smiled when I realised who owned the car - it is the cheek of it, but not my place to report him.
I don't go through life reporting to the authorities what I see other people doing by being a 'curtain twitcher'.
There are more important things in life for me to do. Going round logging in my little black book what I consider to be criminal acts being carried out by others isn't one of them. Each to their own.0 -
Nanny the op is a serial wind-up merchant
No I am not. But quite honestly because this is a public forum I cannot give the registration number of the vehicle or the precise place where this vehicle is parked regularly every Thursday between 4.30pm and 5.30pm. To do so will result in some over zealous individual who reads these posts taking the opportunity to telephone the Council. So therefore without this information I cannot prove that this is true - but I can assure you that it is.0 -
Just on the off chance not a troll, report it to local authority that issued the badge and state it belongs to so in so who is dead, but her grandson is using it.
Why not take a photo as well so you get the BB number etc to help them trace it and cancel it and this will also highlight the vehicle that it is being used on.
Win win for all.
Why? And if so, it would lead him straight to my door. No thanks, I don't need the aggravation.
Besides which are you the type of person that does that? Going round Tesco and Sainsbury car parks, taking photos of cars that are parked in a disabled bay with no Blue Badge and emailing the photos to the company concerned?
Why are people so interested in what others do. 'Those that cast the first stone' comes to mind.0 -
People seem to have taken the view that I am complaining about this abuse. I'm not. I found it rather cheeky and amusing. I was merely pointing out how far some people go when abusing a BB. One that belonged to a lady who has been dead for 15 months!! Well I suppose it is an original one and that it isn't stolen or a copy/fake.0

Well don't come and moan then if your to lazy to do anything about it.
You clearly stated you knew the badge wasn't his and was his dead grandmother's, hence the photgraph as it will show the badge number and the council can trace who it was issued to.
Put up or shut up. Although that last comment proves your a troll!0 -

Does it? I thought that it meant that I am not an unpaid 'Blue Badge detective'. If you have lived your life in an honest way and have never transgressed the law in any way, then yes you may have the right to comment.
I haven't, and I doubt many have.
My posting was to be treated as an amusing comment as to what some people get up to with Blue Badges.
Does what he does affect me? Not in the slightest, so why should I make an issue out of it? Does it affect the general public at large and/or other BB users, no not really, unless you were the one that could have used the space his vehicle occupied for approx 1 hour. If the authorities find out, then that isn't down to me. If he gets away with it, good luck for the cheek of it.0 -

Fraud is Fraud. Such a lovely attitude to have and you wonder why disabled people get the abuse they do, I applaude your civil mindedness!0 -
People abuse the BB scheme?, surely not.0

I have seen a guy, in his late 20s, jump out of a new Porsche 911, after displaying his blue badge.
This was in Sainsburys car park.
When he saw me looking, he said the badge was his mothers!!0
