I really don't understand what is so difficult to comprehend - if he weighs the item, I'll know whether the other one was there originally or not. I know how much the missing item weighs as I have another variation here. If I know the weight of the item he did receive I'll know whether I posted the missing item, or whether I've done something daft! It will be obvious whether the item was there without the weight of the packaging, it was quite heavy.
