That should be 'come in from the wet'. You could use them after a walk on the beach. If you have a bigger dog then (if they keep them on) you can put them on a bigger dogs feet after a muddy walk. I know someone who used to do this.

Knee-high socks...well washed :rolleyes: good for storing onions.

When I finally exhaust old socks I cut them up and put them in the compost bin. Only if they are wool or cotton, cut the elastic bits off first.
