    oh i see, thanks!
Isnt it First Direct part of HSBC?
If i will transfer my existing HSBC current account with 2 DDs using FD easySwitch program, will i still qualify for 100£? :)

As long as you've never had a FD account before, yes.

I transferred £1000 from my Halifax account at the end of April, my SOs and DDs have been transferred, and I checked the account yesterday and my £125 was already in! Impressed with the quick service, and can confirm it is not salary.

sorry to come back to this topic again but, another question!
Im planning to transfer my HSBC current account to FD account to get a 100£.
Currently ive got one DD set up, and it will be actually paid on the 24th of may.
According to theirs T&C: Open a 1st Account then transfer your banking using our Easyswitch service (transferring at least two Direct Debits and/or standing orders)

Does that mean that i can set up 1 DD and 1 Standing order to meet terms and conditions? or it should be 2 standing orders or 2 DDs precisely?
And a second question: Those DDs or Standing orders need to be already paid at least once from my HSBC account? or its not necessary and as long as they are set up and visible online, it will work?
Thanks for help! Currently im waiting for my Post office saver DD, but i need to wait another 14 working days for that direct debit actually to be visible on my HSBC, so i was wondering can i do it somehow quicker :)

I've paid in over £1000 pounds from an external account into my firstaccount and my direct debits have been moved with the easyswitch system nearly a week ago, but I've yet to receive the £125 any idea how long I should wait before I chase first direct?

    hello,

just a small question(s) I have a SO to pay the max £250 from my barclays current account to pay in to my barclays monthly savings account (3.25% AER) i am going to change to the FD account for the 6% saving account but to save the hassle i am going to get my wages changed to the FD account.

this is because my ISA is full so i can then have £250 going to a 3%+ account and £300 to a 6% account -20% tax that is. still not a bad may to save i think. the rest will just go to standard saving account.

Q1 - does anyone know how long it takes for money to go from a FD account to a barclays account someone told me it can take a few days?

Q2 - if i get paid next Thursday 20th June will my account all be setup ready to take my salary?
