scottish power
I have today recieved a notice from Scottish Power informing me that they are changing my electricity meter as it is 13 years old. We don't have our electricity with Scottish Power now we changed several years ago but they did originally provide this new estate originally. Is this legal

Are Scottish Power working on behalf of your supplier?
Call your supplier and check. Your supplier won't own the meter - they just rent it.
I think it was Siemens who came and changed our meter - they don't even supply gas or electricity.0 -
SP will either be the DNO in your area, or the metering company.
Yes, it's perfectly 'legal'; millions of meters are changed every year.No free lunch, and no free laptop
