He is an ejit lol! he texted me to say there was an escaped elephant on the loose and to keep an eye out for it :rotfl:

Then he called round and we made up :D:D:D

He still won't tell me how he vanished earlier, says its classified info :rotfl::rotfl:

Its no wonder we get on, he is as mad as me :p

Nothing new to add, except a fight with the bf and now I'm at work in tears over money. He's been unemployed for 6 months now, and despite how much I love him, I'm sick of paying for him!

Anyway, I'm about to politely email two eBay buyers to see why they haven't paid for auctions that ended on Sunday. Really annoyed as one was £22 for a dress :( I need that £22.

Oh emmaglet :( to a degree I know how you feel, although me and OH are both employed, all the credit cards and loans are in my name, and any shortfalls eg if the joint account won't stretch to shopping one week, comes out of my pocket. Mentioned it loads but just doesn't see how much it affects. Hope it all works out for you and he can find a job soon

Ok so weekly catch up time, I have £43.84 from Textbroker and £46.94 from Quidco today so not far off finishing!!!! YEY. Plus sleeping a lot better since I bought my bargain Nook last week which is a bonus.

Quick question for those of you on PC - I signed up and in the last week have been sent three surveys for different products, prosumably on the possibility of choosing me to product trial. Do we only get paid if we get sent the products rather than filling the survey (one survey took 20 minutes to fill out!) and how do we know if we are being sent one? Thank you

    Happy Bank Holibob everyone :)

    LOL!

Glad things seem to be working out. The OH and I argue like cat and dog but we're both complete nutters!

Yeeeeeew! Very happy for you fairy!

£60 from imutual landed in my account and gone straight into the holiday pot, lots of money off vouchers arrived from tesco and best of all, £6 from Pinecone for filling in 2 surveys. They were for product testing and offered no incentive so this is a nice surprise :D

Back to work for me today. Rehab hours to ease me back in.

Another mystery shop completed. Big one to do tonight, really looking forward to it.

Trying to work out my budget for when my maternity leave starts and college starts. Should in theory be better off but I need to stick to a budget and save loads. Luckily I get 6 months full pay then 3 months SMP. In those 3 months my wages will be £90 down. Sorry, off topic, just thinking aloud.

Lunch time! I'm over my wibble now. BF had a stern text and has spent today ringing recruitment agencies, applying for jobs and coming up with an action plan for turning up at industrial estates with his CV. I've just given him a call and he seems to be doing well!

My 'make money this bank holiday' blog post has gone live - it has a few referral links in it, so hopefully that will bring something in.

I have nothing new to list on eBay this weekend, but I've got relisting. Plus we're doing TWO boot sales this weekend. I've also got £23 in free M&S vouchers and I've been asked if I would kindly leave work an hour early as they want to go home early (oh no...) so I'll pop into Cambridge and get some food. Mmmm free expensive food.

I've not mentioned it, but this weekend is the anniversary of my Mum's death and I always find it so hard - six years down the line. I've got something fun planned with my Dad on Monday (the actual anniversary) and I'm hoping to just keep so insanely busy that I don't think about it until Monday. So I'm going to write a massive to do list and then get back to work.

Sorry to hear about the fight with bf emma, but good he has moved his butt and is doing something about work now. I know how you feel, i was the one working when ex was unemployed so i paid mortgage, food, bills etc etc etc. I got very fed up with it and eventually i just decided to not buy any groceries. When he said about us going to get some i said i had no money to buy any - his face was a picture but he did start to pay up after that. LOL :)

I hope your bf is doing some online earning at least?? if not time he was. Maybe think about having a spending kitty and agree an amount to pay into it for both of you - i know i would have been happy if my ex even put £20 towards the bills and i paid the rest!

Glad you have a busy weekend planned and a day with your dad organised - anniversaries are so tough!! Look after yourself xxx
