Well banged another 2 articles on textbroker, so got 3 awaiting acceptance now.

Done some more adpoints today will see what I hit by Sunday.

Keeping on with the surveys-did a 2 parter quick entry one for PC and bagged £9 in total :), then was able to draw down £3 from mysurvey.

I am so close on you gov it sssooooo annoying. On 4850 lol. Taken years to get to that lol, but did once have a win in the prize draw. Think I might give up once I get my £50.

Whoop!! Lovely unexpected bonus today! After reading the latest MSE newsletter :money: I tried to track down missing Tesco Clubcard points/vouchers as I used to spend loads doing all my big Tesco online shops but haven't used them for a few years now...

I spoke to a really helpful guy in their customer service dept who couldn't find them either but recommended I ring the Tesco Grocery department as they might have more access.. and to email him back if I had no luck there. I rang them, but they said as it was more than two years out of date there was no info available and basically I was out of luck, so I'd get nothing, nada, not a sausage.

So I emailed the customer service guy back to let him know, and ave just had a mail back saying he's sent me £25 on a Tesco Moneycard and added 250 points to my clubcard account, to recompense me for the problems and hassle of having to call them.

Brilliant! What a super-helpful guy, and very impressive customer service - I genuinely did feel like a valued customer. Needless to say, Tesco is going to get the benefit of my custom again now. Well pleased, £25 to add to my monthly total!:j

That's great! I just this week complained about a £2 pizza and they're sending me a £5 moneycard. Whoop.

I was feeling a bit poo then I got my trusty notebook out and now I feel more in control. I revisited my 'to do' list and did some credit card payments - I almost died when I saw my cc had gone up to over £500 - then I remembered that I'd paid for over £200 worth of Florida theme park tickets on it and the vet's bills, because I get M&S vouchers as cashback. PHEW!

Did a £5 pc survey (this was the second part) and I had 600 points sitting in there so I've ordered some luncheon vouchers - Paypal is nice but I'm saving the vouchers for a Nando's meal, yum. Did a swagbucks survey and sent off two eBay invoices. Then I wrote a blog post, the 30 Ways to Save £1 which should net me £30.

So in actual money to add - just £4 for a mystery shop I did last month.

  • Regarding textbroker: Are there ever any 3 star requests? I've been a member for a couple of weeks now, so am obviously only a 3 star, but so far no opportunities to write and get my rating increased :(

Blimey, I wish I lived near you, as I could do with some students.
Do you have to feed them too?

Have you every worked out how much money you made with your various projects over the year?

Yep, last year i kept a tally and got up to £9573 end of December :)

Yes, have to feed them 3 meals a day snd get £11pppn off peak, £15pppn peak weeks. Not such a good return when I was hosting two but now I host 4 :D I'm southwest in the English riviera so we attract a heck of a lot of students.

£10 next voucher arrived in the mail from consumer pulse. I have my eye on a pretty dress from there, £50, so hoping to pay for it solely from CP :)

Aesop, what a really horrible weekend for you hun - pleased that police seem to be supportive and taking things seriously. Hope it goes smoothly at the hearing :A

Very quiet for me on extra work front, so not looking at as bright a start for next month so far.

But, last months activities have starting paying : I've got £105 in so far for some of the audit work & also another small £5 scratchie win - so £110 being added for me today:)

    Hi all,
Back from Scotland after a weeks break with family, really needed it, just getting over a mahoosive op and my sharkbite scar is not properly healed so they made me keep still!:D

Since being back i can report £19 ebay sales and £10 FB sales,
Ive listed some other stuff and need to get in touch with Tesco as we had some Lakeland frozen chicken from there we used when we got home, really really bad freezer burn on the pieces meant we had to cut most of the chicken away, ive taken pics of it, do I just contact customer services??

    Have a fabby day everyone:j

Hi everyone 22 p road kill to report that's all. Next week should be a better week as I have some stuff on EBay and I am expecting a refund next week so fingers crossed!

I think taking part in this challenge has made me think of making money everyday and although it's not looking likely I will make target this month it is a starting point and will build momentum.

    Well done everyone.

£91 for my Tesco CC sales on eBay - minus fees so I'm adding £80 to the pot.

Also took 50p off DS1 who was shoplifting last night and he won't get his £3 spending money this week so £3.50 more (always look on the brightside). If we get a fine, I'll be selling his stuff to pay for it.

    Have a good day, all.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
