    Thurs as in yesterday?

Someone else had already cracked open the Champers thinking their offer had been accepted. The EAs will now be going back to them saying they can up their offer or lose it (presuming the vendor is happy to gazump).

I would expect the previous buyers are sitting there wondering if they should pay more for it when they'd already had a lower offer accepted, and wondering if it's the EA playing games with them. Can only speculate though...

If I was the vendor and had accepted an offer, I would tell you that I will be in touch if that sale falls through. Personally, I'd not go back on my word (even for more dosh), but that's me. I appreciate they'd not have spent money yet, but I think there has to be some sort of trust from Day Dot (especially as nothing's set in stone until exchange/completion).
