Hi,
I have just found out that Royal Mail.no longer do parcel post for around a fiver, so the boots I just sold will cost £8, leaving me with a minus profit.
Can anyone recommend a courier for a private seller with just the occasional larger parcel please, need to post ASAP and not sure which would be the best.
Local corner shop does the parcel to collect service, but not sure if buyer would like that as was advertised as Royal Mail 2nd class, unfortunately got them weighed before prices went up and did not check again before listing.
Thanks.

Don't even consider using a courier unless your buyer agrees. If they want to stick to Royal Mail or do't get back to you, then send them RM as stated and take the hit yourself.
Plenty of threads about couriers for you to browse, they all have good and bad points. Personally I am now using MyHermes but only where I have stated that in my auction.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
