Yahoo Audio Code Email Problem

When I try to login to Yahoo Email I get a popup about an Audio code asking me to copy the letters shown into the box.
I have'nt done it as I don't know what it is & I don't want to compromise anything.
Can anyone advise please?

It's fine, it just Yahoo's ridiculous second verification process. It's supposed to kick in when you sign in from a computer that it doesn't recognise.
So, why does it do it when I sign in from my computers here at home, but not necessarily when I'm travelling around the world. It's just irritating nonsense that doesn't work.0
