Overseas bidders on Uk auctions

Twice in the past few weeks, I have created a UK auction on Ebay, but overseas buyers have managed to bid.
Yesterday, I did another, and this morning I have an overseas bidder. I have checked, and the auction says UK only and no international shipping option.
Have I missed something, or is anyone else seeing this ?

Check your settings against the two on the postage sticky.0 -
I don't want to change my site preferences, as I do usually offer overseas posting, but due to the size & weight this particular item is for the UK only. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I have had this happen twice in the past two weeks, and have put it down to one of the regular e-Bay glitches. My site site preferences are set to exclude certain areas of the world including Italy.
The Italian bidder won, so I decided to honour the auction. When I went to send an invoice, there was an e-Bay message saying words to the effect that the winner was from an area I did not deliver to and did I want to proceed.0 -

You can change it for that listing if you change those preferences from within the listing.0 -

Glad it's not just me. Thought I was going mad. My buyer is going to be very unhappy as she did bid previously and I had to cancel her bid and relist.
Will give Ebay a call in a min and see what they say. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever
