Ok so as an ebay seller (and amazon) I pay alot of fees but I do appreciate the amount of users ebay attract to the site.
If I changed my ebay username to something like "berbastrikedotcom"
... and created a website berbastrike.com with the exact same products on ebay but 5% cheaper and checkout via paypal.. do you think the buyers on ebay would purchase on berbastrike.com or ebay?

All l can say is in my experience from being a eBay seller with a website it appears in my opinion that people seem to prefer the 'security' of eBay. My website prices are even cheaper than my eBay listings in respect the FV fee and l even run promotions of discounts etc. However my repeat customers still purchase via eBay.0
