Cheapest way to do a kitchen

WE have an odd shaped kitchen, with 4 doors coming off of it, and room for only one unit. At the moment we have a sink unit and a space for cooker/fridge/waashing machine, with a bit of work top resting on it...that's it! We want to sell the place and spruce it up a bit (our lovely kitchen in the flat helped us sell last time) We need it to look ok, but be cheap.
We only need a sink unit and some work top with a leg on the end, anyone got any thoughts on 'free standing' kitchen units? Who does them? Do they look all right once they are in?
Thanks....

As you are in Bristol, try Ikea - they've got a good "Bargain Corner". I know two people who did their kitchens really cheaply by constantly going and checking out the bargains. Also, they have an interactive kitchen planner you can download on their website so you could use that to plan and get units elsewhere.
Hope this helps!Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0
