Hello can anyone help? I am about to change my windows and I have started to dig away the old patio to the front of my house and there is the old foundation of a bay window. I like the idea of building a new bay as before, my front garden is a good size will I need planing permission to carry on, we have good relations with our neighbours and will ask them aswell as a matter of goodwill. Thank you for reading this.

Ask the planning people about planning. Even if you are replacing what was there before you will probably need permission.
Also check with Building Control as you will also need building consent. If it is an older property they will probably require deeper foundations than are there already which might make the whole project rather expensive. It would help if you had evidence of what the existing foundation was.0 -
Thank you, I would replace the old with a new foundation as we live in a old terrace house. The evidence is there to see, the house next door had one also.
Thank you again.0
