The Guardian - How to challenge a parking ticket

Article in the Guardian about private pakring tickets
http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2013/apr/18/how-challenge-parking-ticket

and the last paragraph from that article
• If you appeal and Popla does not uphold your complaint, its decision is not binding on you. You can either pay up or, if you are sure of your case, wait to see if you are taken to court. If Popla finds in your favour the parking company is required by the BPA code of practice to rescind the charge.
From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

    Nice article to be fair
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

It makes a nice change to read a newspaper article which seems to have the facts correct and does not call PCN's fines.
It is a pity that other reporters don't seem to know the difference as well.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
