May edn of Gardeners' World mag
This would save 2 adults £23.50 entrance to Eden Project if you were thinking of going anyway in the next 12 months. Plus 2 for 1 @ 300 other gardens. http://www.gardenersworld.com/magazine/0 -
artha, could well have been the present
Keep checking your lilies
Saw yesterday, that M's have lilies potted up at £1. Might be worth sorting through them, I looked, but only one colour I fancied getting, and they only had one of those! Will look again next time I go in.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

The fees now for transactions are extortionate. It's now more like Amazon than an auction site also. People on there only want new goods or high-end second hand goods. Old cloths and the like, people just aren't spending money on.

I too now use other postal couriers for larger items as I was paying £6+ for Royal Mail 1st class - hopefully the outliers will grow to remove this and inject some competition into the marketplace.
I find Collect+ £3.99 for <2kg, £4.99 for >2kg, very easy & convenient.
Anybody found a cheaper service for under 2kg?0 -

We are on clay too and the border I had them in was specially prepared to give good drainage. Put down a good layer of sharp sand to bed them on so they were never wet at the base and covered them with a compost/soil/sand mix. All that effort in such a big border and I still couldn't keep them. I think everyone likes Stargazer but on of my favourites was African Queen along with a pure white that I can no longer remember the name of. I've got an A4 notebook somewhere that I used for sketches and notes when developing the garden and it contains lots of planting plans and details of all the plants in the garden at the time. Not quite so organised these days:rotfl::rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -

With collect+ you get a code and you enter this on the website and you can track your parcels progress via the website through the system. The other week I took 2 parcels to the parcelshop (actually supercigs in the middle of town so very convient) lunchtime on Tuesday, one for London and one for South Wales, both arrived lunchtime next day, Wednesday :Tfairclaire wrote: »Hermes £4.20 for 1-2 KG, collected from your door
