Yes. Everyone who thanked his "new frock for TM" post paid a quid. He collected £12. I've been to Primarni today and treated myself to a sexy little backless number:T

One of the 39 wombles collected today. Goes to show, in my experience, the longer the receipt the less chance of getting an APG. In this case a mere 49p from an almighty spend of £206.08 :eek: Wonder if it's the same every week ?

A purchase of 115 items. They obviously like Cucumber !!!!

Something to keep you busy Savvy ;)

Hello again - I'm sort of half here and half watching Freddie Mercury on the TV (BBC Four), just chilling.

Yes, this was one of the things I was going to say earlier, the longer receipts tend to give much less. Some mathematician (sadly I'm not!:)) or probability theorist can tell us, but I suspect the more items on there, the more likely they are to average out (and be 10% less because a proportion of those will be special offers people have picked up). It matters not what the offer is, more so where it's placed in the store. I think recent article (may have been BBC article linked to from much earlier on this thread) said one store noticed a particular type of beer being bought more. It happened to be situated above a red sign that said "Shoplifters will be prosecuted". No special offer on the beer, apparently general people just associate the red with a special offer and pick up the item next to it. They haven't got time when in store, a few split seconds to pick the products they want... a supermarket's paradise perhaps!

Regarding the long womble, I haven't seen fit to quote the whole lot here (you can see it on the original post of course) - and it doesn't really tell me much I didn't already know sadly. I will study it in depth though!:D

I didn't use my vouchers on anything else.....that's just me :o shine sheets, I have no idea what the point is, I never got to try the bleeding things :rotfl::rotfl:

I was one of the first people to email KC though and complain because I was genuinely peed off at being given a voucher that I couldn't spend. As I remember, at the time it caused a right lot of hassle with a particularly acidic poster on the thread. I got loads of loo rolls for mount andrex, so I was happy
