Evening guys
Well, I did get a better sleep, though still wake every so often with the pain until I shuffle to a new comfy position. Woke at 6am and had first meds then slept gain till 12.30pm and had second lot then, getting up about 2pm. It was better coming down the stairs but still came down on my bum to put less strain on my knee. I can now walk about by steadying myself by hands on walls, bannister, chair, bench or whatever is handy, putting weight on my bad leg for a short time. And sitting here at dining table is easier too, no longer the stabbing pain in back of thigh and knee, so it is looking good. I still wouldn't be able to walk outside with any confidence as unbalanced but I do feel better, though very tired with meds
I have just made an online food shop order for delivery tomorrow afternoon and my niece is coming round to check on me about 6pm and bringing me a few slices of bread so I can have beans on toast later. My friends Steve and Andy are still coming up on Sunday and I will ask my niece if her hubbie can pick them up from the train station. They have been scheming with Kit on how to look after me :rotfl: :rotfl:Their plan includes staying the week as planned and getting out and about as best we can, then instead of going home by train, Andy will drive my car to take me home and then on to their's so they can look after me and I will be on one level, no stairs. I said let's see how I go and how quickly I heal, but really nice to have them caring so much :A :A Kit was frantic on the phone last night bless her :A
I have added Andy on as an extra driver on my car insurance today to take effect on Sunday at noon, so all sorted that way :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Just back from my first coupon shop. I've used small coupons before, but this was the first time I actually made a list of products and went looking for all available coupons for it. £22.96 down to £12.06 (with a multi-buy in as well).
Used a £3 off wys £20, a £1.5 wys £5 in ready chilled meals and various £1 coupons. Didn't get any tinned tomatoes, sadly, there was a big gap where they were meant to be.Even got a PP for 0.20 back.
Off to input it in the PP thing so I know what compared...
Edit:
The "always" range has a couple of things reduced in price to £1, effectively free with the coupon (on supersavyme, as per the coupon thread).
The Pantene has a £1 off coupon there as well, and a 25p cashback from tcb, so not bad either.GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

I already have 8 vouchers for free pizza next March. I have followed the rules and not used made up email addresses.
Are there enough pizzas in the world to cope with the demand there's going to be......... Exponentially huge:eek:
Me and DH had a conversation about this and he said it seems like a case of an incentive for short term gain.
This is the kind of thing apparently you see before a company goes down the pan.
I agree it's either poorly thought out or there's something someone knows will cause us not to get our free pizzas in March....JulieElizabeth wrote: »I don't think I should admit to how many free pizza coupons I have
And I ruined one when I was guillotining it
Me either
I managed to rip up 2 pages of them when I went to re-print them as they'd come off wrong and it then told me I couldn't  I've taken them up on their offer of sending in incorrectly printed ones (with added sellotape for the torn ones plus an explanation) to see if they actually send me replacements.Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
If you focus on what you have left behind, you won't see what lies ahead - Gusteau0 -

No way. Dr O is on a major growth drive across Europe as we speak.
They may well be buying volume but they are gaining efficiencies all over the place not just factory but distribution etc as well.
