Followed by a STALKER again in Tesco the last 3 times I have been there this crazy woman has waved and shouted then proceeded to rake around in my trolley looking at what I am buying.
Starting to get a bit worried as these 3 times have been over a 16 day [STRIKE]period[/STRIKE] time frame.
Anyone else think this is really strange

It's probably a Security Guard or Supervisor :rotfl::rotfl:.

I often play hide and seek in one of my locals with one particular Security guard, it's great fun, especially when you hear the door alarms go off and he is too busy trying to find me. Shoplifters must love it when I'm in store.

I oft thought also that it could be down to character. For whatever has gone in the pas, and sometimes my tone of post is not the same as my tone of voice, I'm a very, don't really know how to say it, well a softie really. I hate violence and I think I give a more supporting angle to my friends than others. It's apparent as even very new acquaintances seem to speak to me personally almost as soon as I know their name.

I'm sure there's a study int here somewhere but it's not one I want to conduct. Let's hope as you say it's a rarity. :A

I agree 100% with you. I've met many, many people in my life. More than most, having travelled and lived in many, many different places. And I've met people you can open up to and tell them things about yourself that you've not told someone you've known for years.

Some people are more easy to open up to.

You always know the type of person you discuss the weather with and the price of petrol. And those with whom you can talk to about every subject under the sun.

Unfortunately, bubbs, I think it is beyond us all. The reasoning often, however, is that the wife was probably being abused too just felt a duty and sense of care to stay with that man. They often make their partners feel so bad about themselves that all they know is that abusive husband. These types of situations are well documented. She may have done the best thing for her boy by, as she may have seen it, putting him out of harm's reach.

This is, of course, all conjecture as I don't know the case.:A

When I read about David's stalker, the first thing that sprang to mind, was that it was his wife. He spends so much time in the supermarket and on here, that I wonder whether he's forgotten what she looks like! :rotfl: Sorry David. Please appreciate my humour.

Love your story though. Yes, shoplifters get ignored when I'm in my local too!

Strange, am I the only one in the country to realise that having more people int he country means you need more water? About time we had desalination plants.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

My view, somewhat unpopular I know, is that if you don't want to vote, take 5 minutes and pop down and scribble your reasons on the ballot paper. Doesn't support either party but does show that you support the idea of democracy.

Not turning up at all gives the impression that you couldn't care less, which for a lot of people isn't the case, they just don't think any of the candidates is up to scratch, or have no idea who any of them are.

In that case, turn up and write on the paper why you're not choosing any. It might only be a small gesture but if enough people do it then its noticed.

To be fair this thread isn't the place for political debate. Too many people are so ill informed that their judgement is purely based on past events and their parent's choice of vote. I differ slightly from you in that my vote constantly changes depending on the current manifesto. How many can say that?

As for those who don't turn up - it really is because 90% don't think it matters or can't be bothered. They use the excuse of "they're all as bad" - HA! can you imagine what a SH** state this country would be in now had MT not done what she did.

    Right - back to work.
