I invested in a vacuum sealer. You can store about three times as much food.....get rid of all the packaging. And your meat doesn't get freezer burn, lasts 2 years with all the air sucked out. It's also good for freezing other stuff....I freeze all sorts.

I have 2 medium sized chests and my fridge freezer. Freezer part of that is full of junk food :( which I can't seem to convince my DS2 to stop eating.

Good morning David and fairclaire. Thanks David for your suggestion I considered ditching him but thought it was tad drastic . :rotfl:

Thanks fairclaire I will look into the vacuum sealer. That is a fabulous Idea.

Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and get some lovely sunshine today. Here's to a fabulous Thursday with lots of bargain shopping.
