Evening Elite
Such a funny tale to share with you tonight.
After weeks of looking in my local Mr T I finally located the 1p chocs tonight. Helpfully Mr T had put them all on a table together at the front of the store. Not being greedy I only took a couple of boxes and mixed them in with my ordinary shopping.
OH was delighted when I returned home with them and decided he would go down himself and get another couple of boxes, which he did. However just as he was picking them up from the table a voice shouted "oi where you going with them, there not for sale"
Apparently in my store if you get a PP saying your shopping would have been cheaper else where you get one of the boxes as well!!!!
OH was gutted but DD and I were rolling with laughter when he came in empty handed. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I'm still in the zero club :rotfl: but that's been a combination of factors not including a very clean westwoods every time I'm there. I gave up looking because every where was spotless!
I've also had a load of personal family problems to get through that have prevented me from getting to SADA as often as I might have and generally shopping at the nearest store to me when I feel up to it.
We as a family have had some very good news but also some devastating news as well. There are two babies due in the family, one is to DH's sister so my 1st niece or nephew, due in Nov. The other is to my cousin, this little guy isn't going to make itthe docs have given him a 1% chance of surviving birth and even if he does he may only live for a few hours. The docs suspect he has Edwards syndrome, he also has a hole in the top of his spine, a faulty valve somewhere in his skull allowing spinal/brain fluid to leak out which is forming in a mass at the base of his skull and growing quite quickly. Cousin is booked in to have a C-section in August and has been to price a plot in the graveyard for the wee guy, we were talking about grave stones and I took her to see my DH's one as she wants one that will last and not fade. It just seems so surreal that in one hand we were looking at getting him a christening gown and a matter of hours later pricing his funeral
Suffice it to say I've really lost my mojo and in the grand scheme of things it's not that important, sorry if I've upset anyone but today and the past few have been very hard. I've tried not to upset anyone by talking about it as emotions are running very high at the moment.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

11p a roll :j:j result, bit hard to hide them as you are walking to the till though not really covert :rotfl:
Well, I went to a ss till with 2 just incase they came up at full price. When the £1.75 came up I got an assistant to watch my shopping as I had " forgot to get something" and legged it back to pick up the other 2 and ran back to finish off my shop. He must have thought I had a medical condition and in dire need.:)0 -
Sorry to hear that SD.0
