This time next week I'll be fckin 50 - not a good thought.

    Closer to death.

    Wiser?

    Doubt it lol,

But closer to death and I worry about what my severely autistic son will do with himself when I'm dead 40 years before he dies if you see what I mean.

First of all Squills, 50's a doddle. Seriously, it's fine, and it beats the wotsit out of the alternative. I shall look forward to raising a glass to you next week.

Secondly, I have close friends and relatives in a similar position to you, though with different disabilities to deal with. It's a worry, of course it is. At the end of the day though, none of us know what's round the corner, and these things have a habit of working themselves out, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.

A maxim I have found helpful is never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you. Sorry if that sounds trite, but it's helped me. x
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Thank you.

    Let's raise a glass Saturday.

Might have to be Sunday

No contest :) Would rather pay 35p more for the pure squeezed juice rather than a "Juice Drink" - have you tried the Trop 50? Had some when T's had the mocs - very different animals, but very clever marketing ......

    :p:p:p it's ghastly isn't it?

Got some one night as a whoopsie :(:( To think people are paying extra for added water ???

Kitchen Devils 9 piece knife set in asda £15. I bought the 5 piece one ages ago and they are well worth it. Just be careful as they are sharp :Dhttp://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kitchen-devils-9-piece-knife-set-15-00-asda-1539323
